Duke and Duchess of Sussex May Soon Spend One to Two Years Sabatical in Africa

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan may soon embark on a year long sabbatical in Africa.

The news broke as Prince Harry joined other members of the royal family to mark the Queen’s 93rd birthday on Easter Sunday.

Although the plan is still in the brainstorming stage, it was revealed that the prince has always wanted to spend a sabbatical in Africa so as to focus on more environmental and education issues.

The Sunday Times broke the news by quoting a royal source who revealed that the one to two years sabbatical will feature the duke and duchess combining their jobs as Commonwealth ambassadors with charity work and a role promoting Britain.

The sources also added that the plan might include them going somewhere for a couple of months but not permanently moving there.

South Africa, Malawi and Botswana were among the likely countries mentioned in the story.
