Sika Bella Kaboré is the current first Lady of Burkina Faso, she is married to the President of Burkina Faso, Roch Marc Christian Kaboré.
She was born in present Lome, Togo to a Togolese physician, Mawupé Valentin Vovor and Emilia Moreira.
Her father was the first sub-Saharan member of the French Academy of Surgery.
She completed her master’s degree in law at the University of Lomé. After that she proceeded to France where she met her husband. They later moved to back Burkina Faso in the 80s.
She started heading the KIMI Foundation, which provides preventative healthcare services to Burkinabé women and children in 2016.
She was close to the previous First Lady of Burkina Faso, former First Lady Chantal Compaoré.
She has three children. She is a strong healthcare advocate.
